Today's monster is the Tar Man, from the 1984 horror film, "Return of the Living Dead". Though it's a non-canon sequel of sorts to George Romero's classic "Night of the Living Dead", "Return" is easily my favorite zombie movie of all time, and the Tar Man is the scariest zombie ever, in my mind. And speaking of minds, it was the Tar Man who originated the concept that zombies want to eat brains. And with his creepy, gurgly voice, it was a truly terrifying catchphrase.
